The DoorBird experience is now available in-doors

Available from Pulse Cinemas/Invision, DoorBird is expanding its range with the launch of two new IP video indoor stations, bringing the same design-led engineering and smart communication features that have made the brand a major player in outdoor video door stations into the home and building interior. The new A1103 and A1104 IP video indoor stations further strengthening the company’s growing ecosystem of connected access and communication products.

A1101 Indoor Station side

Bringing DoorBird inside

For many Pulse Cinemas/Invision customers, DoorBird is already a familiar name in IP-based door communication. The brand’s outdoor stations are widely used in residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, delivering reliable video entry alongside deep integration with automation platforms.

With the arrival of the new indoor stations, the same philosophy now extends into the building interior. The new devices provide a central point for communication with visitors and property management while also supporting wider smart home and building control functionality, effectively bringing the DoorBird experience from the front gate or door directly into the living or a luxury commercial space.

Premium design and clear communication

Both indoor stations feature a 7in true-colour touch display protected by scratch-resistant tempered glass. The screen delivers HD video, allowing occupants to clearly what is on screen before taking any action, while two-way audio ensures conversations remain crisp and reliable whether used in residential properties, commercial buildings or public facilities.

A configurable RGB LED status bar offers clear visual feedback by indicating visitor presence and missed calls. Flexible mounting options also allow installers to integrate the stations neatly into a wide range of interior design schemes and building types.

Two models for different applications

The A1103 model is available in black, white and white with a black frame, featuring a touch bar with direct access to the functions Talk, Door Open, Favourites and Mute. The A1104 model offers the same functionality, but offers a different aesthetic with its black housing and elegant accent in brushed or coated stainless steel aimed at design-oriented users.

Both indoor stations combine advanced technical capability with refined industrial design and have already received recognition with the German Design Award. The A1103 is now in stock and available now and A1104 will available in April.

Designed for smart homes and connected buildings

Beyond basic communication, the new stations offer a wide range of intelligent capabilities that expand their usefulness within modern smart homes and integrated buildings.

Users can open doors or even control elevators directly from the station, while a visitor history function provides access to recorded footage through free cloud recording. When multiple indoor stations are installed within a property, the system also enables convenient room-to-room communication, effectively adding an intercom capability throughout the building.

Support for SIP communication means calls can also be received from concierges or facility managers where appropriate, making the stations suitable for multi-dwelling and commercial environments. The display can also present useful everyday information such as local weather updates, while the platform allows control of wider home and building automation systems using protocols including IP, TCP, HTTPS and relay triggers.

Configuration and management can be handled remotely through the DoorBird app or a web-based dashboard, allowing installers to adjust settings worldwide when required. The system is also compatible with smart locks and the DoorBird IP Video Mini Dome camera.

For integrators, compatibility with leading automation platforms such as Control4, Crestron and the KNX platform ensures the new indoor stations can be incorporated into a wide range of professionally installed smart home and building control systems.
