Invision UK announces new Full 3D projectors

Invision UK, the UK’s leading trade-only distributor of integrated AV solutions for residential, commercial and marine applications, has announced the availability of two new Full 3D projectors from Optoma – the Themescene HD33 and HD83.

Both projectors are Full 3D 1080p and include 3D-RF glasses (the HD83 is supplied with two pairs; HD33 one) and an RF emitter. These have been specifically designed to optimise 3D image quality. Brightness and contrast are maximised whilst emitter placement issues experienced with infra-red models are eliminated.

Optoma guarantees the image and colour quality on both models for at least five years. The projectors are powered by Optoma’s innovative PureEngine technologies, which combine to create the clearest and sharpest 1080p 3D images, with pure, deep colours. PureMotion4, the next generation of the Optoma frame-interpolation processing, virtually eliminates the motion blur sometimes associated with fast-paced sports and non-stop action films, at its highest setting. PureD optimises the projector configuration brightness and image quality, whatever content is being displayed – ensuring stunning image quality both in 2D and 3D modes.

The flagship Themescene HD83 boasts best-in-class colour saturation, high (700:1) ANSI contrast levels and exceptional brightness. Advanced lamp-pulsing technologies enable every frame to be analysed and fine-tuned directly from the lamp – making it possible to achieve vibrant, perfectly saturated colours across the light spectrum whilst simultaneously ensuring that only the minimum level of power is required.

Installers benefit from a full colour management system (CMS+), providing the flexibility to choose between five pre-set colour gamuts: HDTV (Rec 709), EBU, DLP Cinema, SMPTE-C & Native. In addition, fine-tune intensity and x/y co-ordination of primary and secondary colours allow the ultimate in calibration precision.

The Themescene HD33 provides 500:1 ANSI contrast ratio, delivering an unforgettable 3D and 2D performance at an affordable price point.
