Invision confirms availability of new RTI kit…

InvisionUK, the leading trade-only distributor of integrated AV solutions for residential, commercial and marine applications, has confirmed the availability of key products from RTI, previewed at this year’s CEDIA EXPO in Indianapolis. 

The new eight-zone AD-8 distributed audio system is shipping alongside the revolutionary dual-RF T2-Cs+ handheld remote controller and advanced XP-3 central control processor, promising “complete control, power and the ultimate in multiroom audio”.

The AD-8 functions as an extension to RTI’s control systems, providing a cost-effective, highly adaptable solution for whole-house or facility-wide audio distribution. Boasting a matrix switching pre-amp and a built-in Cool Power class D amplifier, the AD-8 achieves amazing flexibility with eight local audio source inputs that can be further enhanced with remote audio sources.

The XP-3 processor packs a serious punch, with a powerful 533-MHz CPU and 128 MB of non-volatile Flash memory. With a built-in RF transceiver and support for wireless bidirectional communications utilising robust ZigBee technology, the XP-3 provides users with real-time feedback from supported third-party devices such as music servers, lighting and security. 

The next generation of RTI’s popular T2-Cs handheld controller, the T2-Cs+ adds a number of powerful features for intuitive control over even the most complex AV systems. Sporting a brilliant 2.4in LCD touchscreen for stunning image quality and increased viewing angle, the T2-Cs+ contains 128 MB of Flash memory and a 532-MHz CPU. The controller’s dual-RF platform supports both 433-MHz RF for one-way control and 2.4-GHz ZigBee for bidirectional communication with RTI processors and supported third-party electronics such as music servers, lighting, etc.
