Invision UK announces major launches for HTE New products from major brands featuring at CEDIA event
Invision UK, the leading trade-only distributor of integrated AV solutions for residential, commercial and marine applications, is set to take this year’s CEDIA Home Technology Event (HTE) by storm with a raft of new product launches from some of its major brands. These new launches complement the distributor’s more established products, also featuring at the CEDIA 2011 event at London’s ExCeL from 28-30 June on stand B10.
Following the recent announcement that Invision UK has signed a distribution agreement with Grandbeing, the two companies have joined forces to showcase Grandbeing’s product line-up at HTE. Grandbeing specialises in HD conversion, amplification, distribution, switching and control. Several new products will make their debuts on stand B10, including innovative HD distribution and switching solutions, matrices, splitters, converters, extenders and cables.
Autonomic’s new MMS-2 Mirage Media server gets its UK launch at CEDIA HTE. Designed specifically for custom installers, Autonomic’s Media Servers combine traditional server functionality with Internet cloud technology to provide homeowners with global access to their content and streaming media services. This new server is the two-zone version of the company’s original MMS, now called the MMS-5 (for five zones) and will be showcased on stand B10.
Invision UK is overseeing the launch of the Mozaex Solo 2 3D all-in-one 12TB Blu-ray 3D Server. The Solo 2 3D supports up to 300 Blu-ray or 1500 DVD movies and is based on the Industry’s best of breed components, including the Intel i3 processor and NVidia GPUs, 3D VisionTM, CUDATM, and PureVideoTM technology.
Also debuting at HTE is Pakedge’s new WAP-W5N Wireless Access Point and companion CTL-W5N Wireless Virtualisation Management Controller. The Pakedge system incorporates Virtual Cell Technology to tie the operation of all the wireless access points in a home network together so that they all appear as a single wireless access point to a device (client) such as a laptop, iPad, touch panel, or a Wi Fi phone using VoIP. The result is glitch-free roaming over the entire network.
Continued...Polk Audio’s Blackstone TL350 5.0 Satellite/Centre System is unveiled at HTE – like all Invision UK launches, on stand B10. An exciting addition to Invision UK’s Custom Home Cinema product range, Polk’s Blackstone TL350 system comprises four perfectly matched TL3 Blackstone satellite speakers and a Blackstone TL3c centre channel speaker. The result is a truly sophisticated level of performance and sonic detail from elegant, compact speakers.
The TL350 utilises advanced Time Lens (TL) Technology to align the acoustic centres of the tweeter and mid-bass drivers for superior imaging – while the acoustic lens incorporated in the grille smoothes the tweeter’s frequency response to achieve a balance not previously thought possible in small, satellite speakers.
